This is the picture on page 136 in true scale. Each horizontal line y=b represents the pattern of dots you get when applying Newton's method to the graph of y=x4-x+b. You can explore it by pointing to a section and clicking. That area will then be magnified. You can look at a larger area by clicking on the ``demagnify'' button. You can regulate the density of dots using the other buttons.
