Linear Algebra (211a,b)

This course begins where your high school algebra and geometry courses probably ended: solving systems of linear equations and understanding the geometry of 2 and 3 dimensional space. In this course you will do computational work with matrices and learn about its geometric interpretations in many dimensions. Linear algebra has many application throughout mathematics, from statistics and linear programming to differential equations and dynamical systems.
