Calculus I and II (111a,b and 112a,b)

These courses stress the way calculus is used in science and mathematics. The notions of calculus are introduced as tools and a language for understanding scientific problems. In particular, you will use differential equations to model phenomena, and you will use numerical and analytic methods to solve the equations. Group work is encouraged and computers are used extensively in these courses.
