Statistical Thinking (107a)

This introductory statistics course requires only an understanding of high school algebra. The course focuses on the use of statistics in real life, including: defining the research question; designing experiments; collecting, managing, and analyzing data; and interpreting the results. There is a laboratory; in it, students learn to use statistical software packages for data analysis.
